On May 9th the 3rd grade help their 6th annual Math Olympics! A mix of movement and math! The students worked on fractions, area, perimeter and geometry problems while doing jumping jacks, hopping like a frog, skipping and spinning! The weather cooperated and we had a great time!
The Gold Medal went to Mrs. Murphy's class, the Silver to Miss O'Brien's class and the Bronze to Mr. Glines' class. This year the difference between Gold and Bronze was only 5 points! The closest ever! Was a great afternoon! A huge thank you to Mrs. Wiley, Mrs, Giugliano and Mrs. Campbell for volunteering to help our Olympics go smoothly!!!
