This year at Mulready all of the students from K - 4 will be given access to a premium math program for use at school and home. Kindergarten, grade 1 and grade 2 students will be using the program Splash Math This is a program in which teachers can assign certain topics and activities to align with their lessons in class, or to review what a specific child needs. The children can earn tokens to "buy" different worlds and avatars. You, as a parent, can make sure your email address is added to your child's account so that you can get emails to let you know what they are doing and how well. You can also get an app for an iPad and take it on the go!
Grade 3 & 4 will be using the program called Math facts Pro. This is a program that focuses on math facts. Each child will have an account and will work to learn their fact fluently. This program is constantly improving and the kids can play games, they are played a joke every so often. The teachers are able to see how they are doing on the facts and adjust the amount of problems they need to do each session as well as what level they are working on. The students can see how they are doing on a graph that is part of the program, The program can be used on an ipad, but you must first download an app called "puffin" which will allow you to use the "flash"
