3rd Grade Math Olympics

Spinning, tight rope walking, skipping, jumping jacks, running and MATH!

On Wednesday May 3rd the 3rd grade spent the afternoon combining physical activity and Math skills for a fun way to review!

The 3rd grade classes competed in the areas of fractions, geometry and multiplication and division. they could choose the difficulty of their questions based on the number of points it was worth. The teams earned points for their accuracy in answering questions, their speed in which they answered and their teamwork.

In the closest race in the 3 years we have done this the medals go to..........

The Gold medal went to Mrs. Hall's class

The Silver medal went to Mrs. Murphy's class

The Bronze medal went to Ms. O'Brien's class
